The T-H Marine Steer Stop Hydraulic Steering Lock is designed to keep hydraulic-steered outboard motors centered and secure during trailering. The 4-inch steering lock uses a pair of clips that snap onto the hydraulic steering cylinder rods on each side of the outboard, helping prevent the motor from wandering or swinging from side to side while the boat is being transported.
By limiting unwanted steering movement, the Steer Stop helps reduce stress and potential damage to the steering system, outboard, and motor supports during transportation. Its revised design includes an integrated grip for easier installation and removal, while the included cord keeps the two pieces together when stored and provides additional leverage when removing the locks.
