The Okuma Ceymar HBF (HD) Baitfeeder Spinning Reel is a feature-rich spinning reel designed for anglers who need the versatility of a baitfeeder system combined with the smooth performance and durability of Okuma's latest reel technology. Available in sizes ranging from 500 to 8000, the Ceymar HBF is equally at home targeting panfish, trout, bass, catfish, carp, and light inshore species.
At the heart of the reel is Okuma's On/Off Auto Trip Baitfeeding System, allowing fish to take the bait with minimal resistance before automatically engaging the primary drag with a turn of the handle. The rear-mounted, micro-adjustable secondary drag provides precise bait control, making it ideal for live bait, cut bait, and stationary presentations.
The Ceymar HBF also incorporates Flite Drive™ Technology, reducing friction between the pinion gear and main shaft for exceptionally smooth retrieves with less startup resistance. Combined with 7BB + 1RB stainless steel bearings, a precision machine-cut brass pinion gear, and a Carbonite® multi-disc drag system, the reel delivers dependable cranking power and smooth drag performance under heavy loads.
Additional features include Cyclonic Flow Rotor (CFR) Technology, which increases airflow around the rotor to accelerate drying and reduce corrosion, a rigid machined aluminum handle, heavy-duty aluminum bail wire, and a machined anodized aluminum spool with Line Control Spool (LCS) lip for improved casting performance and reduced line twist. These technologies make the reel well suited for freshwater and light saltwater applications.
