Owner Cover Shot Worm Hook

The Owner Cover Shot Worm Hook is a premium fine-wire finesse hook designed for weedless rigging of soft plastic worms and smaller bass baits. Featuring a unique monofilament bait keeper, Owner's Super Needle Point and a Silky Gray friction-reducing finish, the Cover Shot delivers secure bait placement and dependable hook penetration for finesse fishing presentations.

Designed primarily for weedless drop-shot fishing, the Owner Cover Shot allows anglers to rig soft plastics with the hook point tucked into the bait, helping reduce snags when fishing around grass, wood, rock and other structure.

Unlike traditional worm hooks, the Cover Shot features a monofilament bait keeper carefully wrapped onto the hook shank. This keeper holds soft, flexible plastics securely in position without requiring a bulky metal barb or screw-lock system. It also helps prevent the bait from sliding down the hook during casting, retrieving and fishing around cover.

The fine-wire construction is particularly well suited for finesse fishing with lighter line and spinning tackle. Owner's Super Needle Point promotes quick penetration, while the Silky Gray frictionless finish helps reduce resistance during the hookset.

Weedless Drop-Shot Fishing

The Owner Cover Shot is an excellent choice for weedless drop-shot rigs using finesse worms and other small soft plastics. Its bait keeper helps secure the worm while the hook design allows anglers to fish around cover with a reduced risk of snagging.

Light Texas Rig Fishing

Use the Cover Shot with smaller soft plastics and appropriately sized bullet weights for finesse Texas-rig presentations. The fine-wire design makes it a useful option when bass prefer a smaller bait and a lighter presentation.

Split-Shot & Carolina Rig Fishing

The Owner Cover Shot also works with split-shot and light Carolina-rig presentations, giving anglers multiple ways to fish finesse worms around points, flats, rock and other bass-holding structure.
