The tip section in the Berkley Shock rods is where the difference truely lies. The Shock Absorbing Tip perfectly compliments the lack of stretch of braid, allowing you to reap all the benefits of braided line while aiding with hooksets, fighting fish and working a bait flawlessly for better presentations on the water. The guides are stainless steel with titanium oxide inserts that resist cracking and line grooving for extended life. The grip on these casting rods feature a new textured rubber for all day comfort.
