VMC Neko Weight

The VMC Neko Weight lets you adjust a soft plastic worm’s fall and action with a compact insert design. Made for Neko-wacky rigging, it fits into one end of a suitable soft bait, adding weight where you need it without attaching a separate sinker to the line.

Conical ribs help anchor the weight inside the plastic, while its thin profile gives you flexibility when modifying your presentation. Insert it carefully into the end of your worm or stick bait, then pair the bait with a suitable Neko hook and rigging ring if desired.

Four weight options let you experiment with different fall rates and levels of bottom contact. Start lighter when you want a slower descent, or increase the weight when depth, wind, or current makes it harder to control the bait. Your soft plastic’s size and buoyancy will also affect how the finished rig behaves.

Try letting the rig settle, adding small rod-tip movements, and pausing between lifts. Keep more than one weight size available so you can adjust the same bait as conditions change. Each package contains 10 weights, providing extras for assembling and refreshing your finesse rigs.
