Megabass Magdraft 5"

The Megabass Magdraft 5" brings the proven swimming action and realistic profile of the Magdraft family into a compact 5-inch soft-body swimbait designed for bass fishing. Its smaller profile provides anglers with a versatile option for matching smaller forage, fishing clearer water and presenting a realistic swimbait to pressured largemouth and smallmouth bass.

Built with Megabass' signature soft-body construction, the Magdraft 5" combines a realistic baitfish profile with a responsive paddle tail that produces a natural kicking action throughout the retrieve. The compact 5-inch body allows anglers to fish a substantial swimbait presentation without the larger profile of traditional trophy-class soft swimbaits.

The Magdraft 5" features Megabass' integrated Maghold System, which uses an internal magnet to secure the treble hook against the body of the swimbait. Holding the hook close to the bait helps maintain a clean, streamlined profile during the retrieve while keeping the hook positioned for effective hookups when a fish strikes.

A pre-rigged internal harness eliminates the need to build a separate swimbait rig before fishing. Straight out of the package, the Megabass Magdraft 5" provides anglers with a ready-to-fish soft-body swimbait designed to track naturally through the water.

The paddle tail produces a consistent kicking action at a range of retrieve speeds, allowing anglers to adjust their presentation based on water temperature, fish activity and fishing conditions. Slow the bait down when bass want a more deliberate presentation or increase retrieve speed when covering water for active fish.

The 5-inch profile makes this Magdraft particularly useful when bass are feeding on smaller shad, minnows and other baitfish. It is also a great option when anglers want the realistic appearance and swimming action of a Magdraft in a more compact presentation.

Fish the Magdraft 5" around grass lines, rocky banks, points, docks, open water and suspended fish. Its baitfish profile and natural swimming action make it a versatile choice for targeting bass in a variety of freshwater environments.

The compact size is also an excellent choice for clear water and pressured fisheries, where a more natural or downsized swimbait presentation can help generate strikes from fish that may be reluctant to commit to larger offerings.

Fisherman's Central carries the Megabass Magdraft 5" in a large selection of realistic baitfish and specialty finishes, allowing anglers to match local forage and adjust their presentation based on water clarity, light conditions and fishing pressure.
