Berkley PowerBait Power Grub

The Berkley PowerBait Power Grub combines a curly tail profile with Berkley’s PowerBait scent and flavor formula. From small panfish presentations to larger bass and walleye setups, this soft plastic grub gives anglers a straightforward bait they can adapt to different tackle and fishing conditions.

Designed to deliver tail action at slow speeds, the Power Grub lets you maintain movement without relying on a fast retrieve. Its bulky body provides presence and room for rigging, while the curling tail adds motion as the bait travels through the water.

The PowerBait formula adds scent and flavor to the presentation. Rig the grub straight on a suitably sized jighead, keeping the tail free to move, then experiment with steady retrieves, short hops, and pauses. Adjust jig weight to maintain the depth and control you need.

Fisherman’s Central lists 2-, 3-, 4-, and 5-inch options, allowing you to change the bait’s profile to suit your target species. Choose a natural pattern or a brighter color, pair it with balanced tackle, and keep several sizes ready as conditions change.
