Strike King KVD 2.5 Wake Bait

The Strike King KVD 2.5 Wake Bait is a shallow-running hard bait designed to create an aggressive wake and hunting action just beneath or across the surface. Built around the proven KVD 2.5 profile, this wake bait gives anglers a highly visible presentation for targeting bass that are actively feeding in shallow water.

Its specialized design allows the lure to track near the surface while producing a pronounced wake that helps bass locate the bait. The erratic hunting action adds another layer of attraction, creating a presentation that resembles fleeing or disoriented forage moving through shallow water.

The KVD 2.5 Wake Bait is particularly effective around shallow grass, wood, docks, laydowns, rocky banks, and flats. It can be retrieved steadily to maintain a consistent wake or worked with changes in speed and cadence to trigger reaction strikes.

The lure's shallow presentation makes it an excellent choice when bass are positioned high in the water column or actively feeding near the surface. It can also be effective during low-light periods, overcast conditions, and seasonal shallow-water feeding activity.

For anglers looking for a versatile wake bait with a proven bass-catching profile, the Strike King KVD 2.5 Wake Bait provides an aggressive surface-oriented presentation for covering shallow water and generating reaction strikes.
