Storm ThinFin

The Storm Original ThinFin is a proven shallow-running crankbait with a distinctive flat-sided, deep-bodied design that creates an erratic darting action and pronounced flash. Originally designed as a multi-species bait, the ThinFin imitates common forage such as shad, shiners, and herring, making it a versatile choice for bass, walleye, trout, and other predatory gamefish.
The ThinFin's laterally compressed body and flat sides create an unpredictable swimming presentation that can trigger reaction strikes from fish following the lure. Its detailed scale pattern adds visual flash during the retrieve, while the floating design allows anglers to pause the bait around shallow cover and structure.
Storm offers the Original ThinFin in two sizes. The TF06 measures 2-1/2 inches, weighs 1/5 ounce, and runs approximately 3 to 8 feet deep. The larger TF08 measures 3 inches, weighs 3/8 ounce, and reaches approximately 4 to 10 feet. Both models feature premium VMC treble hooks.
The Storm Original ThinFin is particularly effective around rocky banks, shallow flats, weed edges, points, and other areas where bass and other gamefish are feeding on smaller baitfish. Its combination of flash, erratic movement, floating buoyancy, and baitfish-matching profile makes it a versatile shallow-water crankbait for both casting and trolling applications.
