The SPRO Spin John 80 is a precision-designed spybait developed by B.A.S.S. Elite Series angler John Crews for targeting bass with a subtle yet highly responsive underwater presentation. Measuring 80 mm and weighing 5/16 ounce, the Spin John 80 features a sinking design, specialized chin, dual swivels, and counter-rotating blades that work together to create a distinctive rolling and rocking action.

The Spin John 80's unique chin design increases water resistance beneath the lure, helping produce a hard rolling action even during slow retrieves. Its swivels are incorporated into both the line tie and rear hook hanger, allowing the bait to rock back and forth as it falls on slack line while also reducing the leverage a bass can use to throw the lure during the fight.

A pair of counter-rotating blades creates subtle flash and vibration as the bait moves through the water, making the Spin John 80 particularly useful when bass are pressured, suspended, or reluctant to chase more aggressive presentations. The sinking design also allows anglers to target different portions of the water column by controlling retrieve speed and fall time.
