The SPRO McStick 95 and 110 are suspending jerkbaits designed with professional angler Mike McClelland to give bass anglers versatile baitfish presentations in shallow water. Both sizes are built to suspend during pauses and dive approximately 3 to 5 feet, making them effective choices when bass are holding in the upper portion of the water column.
The McStick 95 provides a smaller, bite-sized profile for situations when bass are feeding on smaller forage or responding better to a more compact presentation. Measuring 95mm and weighing 3/8 ounce, it features two sticky-sharp Gamakatsu #5 treble hooks. The smaller profile has also been described as a useful option under calmer or more pressured conditions.
The McStick 110 increases the profile to 110mm and the weight to 1/2 ounce while retaining the 3–5-foot diving range. It comes equipped with three Gamakatsu #5 treble hooks and is designed to suspend effectively during colder early- and late-season conditions.
Both McStick models can be worked with a traditional jerk-and-pause retrieve, allowing anglers to control the amount of time the lure remains suspended between movements. Their compact diving range makes them useful around shallow flats, rock, cover, docks, and other areas where bass suspend near the upper water column.
