Smithwick Lures Suspending Super Rogue

The Smithwick Lures Suspending Super Rogue is a larger suspending jerkbait designed to deliver an aggressive baitfish presentation with the proven action of the Super Rogue profile. Its suspending design allows anglers to keep the lure in the strike zone during pauses, making it an effective choice when bass are following bait but need additional time to commit.

The Super Rogue produces an erratic, darting action when worked with a jerk-and-pause retrieve. Sharp rod movements make the lure flash and change direction, while pauses allow it to suspend naturally rather than immediately rising or falling. This combination can imitate an injured or fleeing baitfish and trigger reaction strikes from nearby bass.

Its larger profile provides increased presence in the water and is well suited for targeting bass feeding on larger forage. The lure can be worked around points, rocky banks, flats, grass edges, submerged structure, and other areas where bass are actively hunting baitfish.

Adjust the retrieve cadence to match the mood of the fish. Faster jerks can activate aggressive bass, while longer pauses can give lethargic or pressured fish an opportunity to strike. The Smithwick Suspending Super Rogue is an excellent choice for anglers looking for a larger suspending jerkbait with an erratic presentation.
