Secret Lures Chubby Frog

The Secret Lures Chubby Frog is a 4-inch soft-plastic frog designed to deliver a unique combination of weedless topwater performance, powerful surface disturbance, and improved hookup potential. Developed through extensive testing, the Chubby Frog features a specialized body shape engineered to help anglers convert more explosive frog strikes into solid hookups.

The Chubby Frog's grooved belly and deep top hook cavity protect the hook point from snags while allowing the body to compress easily when a bass attacks. Its tapered sides reduce unnecessary bulk around the hook gap, helping improve the strike-to-hookup ratio, while the keeled bottom helps the frog land upright and remain properly positioned on the water.

Oversized legs with reinforced ridges add weight to the feet, creating a distinctive sound and action as the frog moves across the surface. The result is a versatile topwater presentation that can be worked through heavy vegetation, across open water, or around isolated cover.

The Chubby Frog is not limited to topwater fishing. Its full-body colors can also be used Carolina rigged, Texas rigged, or as a jig trailer, giving anglers additional ways to capitalize on its substantial 4-inch profile. The bait weighs approximately 1/2 ounce without a hook, providing useful casting weight even before rigging.
