The Secret Lures 4.5" Big Dummy is an oversized tube bait designed for anglers who want a larger, more substantial presentation without sacrificing the fast-collapse characteristics that make tube baits so effective. Born from the testing and development of the Flippin' Stupid Tube, the Big Dummy measures approximately 4.5 inches and features roughly twice the diameter of a standard Secret Lures Stupid Tube.
Despite its bulky profile, the Big Dummy is constructed with relatively thin walls. This allows the tube to collapse quickly when a bass bites, helping expose the hook and improve hookup potential. Its oversized profile provides a strong visual and vibration-based presence when bass are feeding on larger forage or when a bigger tube presentation is needed.
The Big Dummy is specifically sized to work with the Secret Lures HD Stupid Tube Jig Head and can also be paired with the Stupid Tube Ledge Head. This makes it well suited for the "Stupid Style" tube presentation, while its versatile design can also be adapted to other tube-bait rigging methods.
With a heavily salted soft-plastic construction, the Big Dummy offers additional weight and a natural feel when fish take the bait. It is an excellent choice for flipping and pitching around shallow cover, docks, grass, stumps, and submerged timber, while also providing a larger tube option for deeper structure and ledge fishing.
