The Secret Lures 4.2" Flippin' Stupid Tube is a hand-dipped, salted tube bait specifically designed for flipping, pitching, and fishing around heavy cover. Secret Lures took the proven proportions and texture of its Stupid Tube and scaled the design up to create a larger presentation that pairs perfectly with the HD Stupid Tube Jig Head. The result is a beefier tube with a 50% larger inside diameter and an additional half-inch of length compared to the original Stupid Tube.
Built around the same proven tube recipe, the Flippin' Stupid Tube delivers a natural, darting and spiraling presentation that can give bass a different look from traditional flipping jigs and creature baits. Its salted construction also provides additional weight for casting and helps fish hold onto the bait longer after the bite.
The 4.2" Flippin' Stupid Tube is designed as part of a complete system with the HD Stupid Tube Jig Head, but its versatile body can also be Texas rigged with the hook and weight configuration of your choice. It is an excellent option for flipping shallow cover, pitching around docks, working through vegetation, or targeting pressured bass that have seen conventional presentations.
