Rapala Original Floater*

More Colors Continued

The Rapala Original Floater is the legendary balsa minnow lure that helped establish Rapala as one of the most recognized names in fishing. Built with a natural minnow profile and the classic Rapala wounded-minnow action, the Original Floater delivers a versatile presentation for bass, trout, walleye and other freshwater gamefish.

Constructed from lightweight balsa wood, the Rapala Original Floater produces a natural swimming action that mimics a vulnerable or injured baitfish. Its floating design allows anglers to work the lure in several different ways depending on the target species, depth and fishing conditions.

Twitch the Original Floater near the surface to imitate an injured minnow, retrieve it as a shallow-running bait, or add weight to reach fish holding deeper in the water column. The lure can also be used with a three-way swivel or bottom-bouncer setup, giving anglers even more versatility from one classic hard bait.

Each Rapala Original Floater is hand-tuned and tank-tested to help ensure dependable swimming action straight from the package. Premium VMC® black nickel hooks provide sharp, reliable hookups when fish commit to the bait.

Available in multiple sizes and proven Rapala color patterns, anglers can match the Original Floater to everything from small forage and finesse presentations to larger baitfish profiles for bigger freshwater predators.
