Depending on model and presentation, these deep-running jerkbaits can reach depths of up to 20 feet while trolling, making them especially effective for targeting suspended walleye, open-water fish and gamefish holding along deeper structure.

The oversized diving lip helps the lure reach its target depth while maintaining the straight-and-true swimming action Rapala designed into the Husky Jerk series. Even when trolled at higher speeds, the Down Deep Husky Jerk is designed to maintain a consistent swimming action without losing stability.

Neutral buoyancy allows the lure to suspend when the retrieve is paused, giving anglers the ability to stop the bait in the strike zone. This is especially useful when casting and retrieving around structure or when fish respond to a stop-and-go presentation.

A tuned internal rattle chamber creates a loud, rhythmic sound that adds attraction as the lure moves through the water.
