Beast Coast Tungsten O.W. Sniper Football Jig

The Beast Coast Tungsten O.W. Sniper Football Jig is a compact finesse football jig designed for targeting pressured largemouth and smallmouth bass in clear water, open water and around rocky structure. Featuring a lead-free tungsten head, hand-tied skirt, sharp BKK 2/0 hook and secure double-barbed trailer keeper, the Open Water Sniper delivers a compact crawfish-style presentation with excellent bottom feel.

Designed with input from smallmouth specialist Travis Manson of Smallmouth Crush, the Beast Coast Open Water Sniper Jig is built for anglers who need a smaller, more natural football jig presentation when bass are pressured or feeding on compact bottom-dwelling forage.

The jig's tungsten head provides a compact profile while helping transmit contact with rock, gravel and other hard-bottom structure. This increased bottom feedback makes the O.W. Sniper an excellent choice for anglers dragging a football jig across offshore structure and trying to identify changes in bottom composition.

The compact profile makes the Beast Coast Tungsten Sniper Jig particularly effective for clear-water bass and heavily pressured fisheries. When larger football jigs produce follows or refusals, the smaller presentation provides anglers with a finesse alternative that still maintains excellent bottom contact.

For smallmouth bass, drag or slowly hop the Open Water Sniper across rocky points, gravel flats, boulders, offshore humps, breaks and other hard-bottom structure. Pair the jig with a compact craw, creature bait or goby-style trailer to imitate the bottom-dwelling forage smallmouth frequently target.

The Sniper is especially well suited for rock and hard-bottom fishing. Its football-style head maintains bottom contact while helping anglers work the bait methodically across rocky structure. Small hops, short drags and occasional pauses can imitate a crawfish or goby moving along the bottom.

For clear-water bass fishing, natural craw, green pumpkin, goby and subtle earth-tone patterns provide realistic presentations that can appeal to fish with plenty of visibility.

The compact profile also makes the O.W. Sniper an excellent choice for pressured bass. Downsizing from a traditional full-size football jig can provide a more subtle presentation when fish have seen significant fishing pressure or are feeding on smaller forage.

Although particularly well suited for smallmouth bass, the Beast Coast Tungsten O.W. Sniper Football Jig is also an effective option for largemouth bass around points, rock, gravel, offshore structure and other relatively open areas where bass are feeding near the bottom.

A hand-tied skirt provides natural movement while maintaining the jig's compact profile. The short-cut skirt complements finesse trailers without creating excessive bulk.

The jig is equipped with a sharp BKK 2/0 hook, providing dependable hook penetration while maintaining the smaller profile required for finesse jig fishing.

A double-barbed trailer keeper helps secure soft plastic craws, chunks and other finesse jig trailers during repeated casts and bottom contact.

Molded weight markings make it easier to identify different jig sizes when selecting tackle on the water.

Fisherman's Central carries the Beast Coast Tungsten O.W. Sniper Football Jig in 1/4 oz, 3/8 oz and 1/2 oz sizes, giving anglers options for adjusting fall rate, depth and bottom contact.

The 1/4 oz O.W. Sniper provides the lightest finesse presentation and is an excellent choice for shallower water, pressured bass and situations where a slower fall is preferred.

The 3/8 oz O.W. Sniper provides a versatile middle-weight option for dragging rock, gravel and offshore structure while maintaining a compact profile.

The 1/2 oz O.W. Sniper provides additional bottom contact for deeper water, windier conditions and situations where anglers need to maintain better feel with hard-bottom structure.

Fisherman's Central carries colors including Dirtbag, Hybrid Black, Hybrid Goby, MB Mothman, MB Pumpkin, MB Sexy Melon and PB&J, providing natural crawfish, goby and dark-profile options for different water clarity and forage conditions.
