Berkley Powerbait Maxscent 'Moeba

The Berkley PowerBait MaxScent ’Moeba is a 3.5-inch finesse soft bait designed for anglers targeting pressured, suspended and difficult-to-catch bass. Combining Berkley’s MaxScent technology with an ultra-responsive body and natural profile, the ’Moeba provides subtle movement and scent attraction for modern finesse fishing techniques.

Designed for largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass, the Berkley MaxScent ’Moeba excels when fish are reluctant to commit to larger or more aggressive presentations. Its soft body responds to minimal rod movement, allowing anglers to create a subtle presentation when fishing clear water, pressured fisheries and tough conditions.

The 3.5-inch profile provides a compact finesse presentation that can be used with a variety of modern bass-fishing techniques.

Fish the ’Moeba on a drop shot rig when targeting bass around rock, grass edges, points, offshore structure and other areas where a subtle soft plastic presentation can generate bites.

The ’Moeba is also well suited for hover strolling, giving anglers a compact soft plastic option for presenting a bait naturally to suspended or roaming fish.

For anglers using forward-facing sonar, the Berkley MaxScent ’Moeba can be presented to individual suspended fish or groups of bass holding away from traditional bottom structure. Its subtle movement makes it especially useful when fish can see the bait but are reluctant to commit to more aggressive presentations.

The ’Moeba can also be paired with a jighead for finesse minnow-style presentations, allowing anglers to cast to suspended fish, work offshore structure or target bass following schools of forage.

For Damiki-style presentations, the compact 3.5-inch profile provides another option when targeting suspended bass vertically or at an angle.

The soft, responsive construction creates movement with minimal input, helping the bait maintain a natural appearance rather than relying on an aggressive swimming action.

Berkley’s PowerBait MaxScent technology adds scent and flavor attraction to the presentation, giving anglers another way to trigger and convert bites when fishing pressure or difficult conditions make bass less aggressive.

For smallmouth bass, fish the MaxScent ’Moeba around rocky structure, points, gravel, offshore humps and suspended forage. The compact finesse profile makes it especially useful when smallmouth are feeding selectively or responding to subtle presentations.

For largemouth bass, use the ’Moeba around grass edges, offshore structure, points and suspended schools of baitfish. Its finesse profile provides an alternative when larger worms, swimbaits and moving baits aren't producing.

The ’Moeba is also an excellent option for clear-water bass fishing, where a natural presentation and subtle movement can be especially important.

Fisherman’s Central carries the 3.5-inch Berkley PowerBait MaxScent ’Moeba in a selection of natural and high-contrast colors, including Black, Bloodshot, Blue Pearl Black Hologram, Green Pumpkin, Mimizu and Watermelon.

Natural colors such as Green Pumpkin and Watermelon provide versatile options for clear water and natural forage presentations, while other available colors give anglers additional choices for matching fishing conditions and forage.

Whether you're drop-shotting pressured smallmouth, hover strolling suspended bass, targeting fish with forward-facing sonar or fishing a finesse jighead presentation, the Berkley PowerBait MaxScent ’Moeba provides a compact 3.5-inch profile, subtle movement and MaxScent attraction for modern finesse bass fishing.
