Berkley PowerBait MaxScent Lil' General

The Berkley PowerBait MaxScent Lil' General is a compact 2.75-inch finesse stick bait designed for Ned rigs, light jigheads, drop-shot presentations and other finesse fishing techniques. Featuring Berkley's proven MaxScent material and a ribbed, downsized profile, the Lil' General delivers a subtle presentation for targeting bass, walleye and panfish in clear water, pressured fisheries and challenging fishing conditions.

At just 2.75 inches, the Lil' General provides a compact profile that imitates small natural forage and gives anglers a downsized alternative when fish aren't responding to larger soft plastics. Its segmented, ribbed body provides additional surface area while creating subtle movement and helping maximize the effectiveness of the MaxScent material.

The PowerBait MaxScent material releases a powerful scent field into the surrounding water, adding another level of attraction to the bait. Combined with its soft texture and natural profile, the Lil' General is designed to appeal to fish through both presentation and scent, making it especially useful for finesse fishing situations.

The Berkley PowerBait MaxScent Lil' General is an excellent choice for a Ned rig. Pair it with a mushroom-style or Ned-style jighead and work it slowly along rock, gravel, points, flats and other bottom structure. The compact 2.75-inch profile provides a natural presentation for largemouth and smallmouth bass while also making an excellent option for walleye and larger panfish.

For smallmouth bass, fish the Lil' General around rocky flats, points, transitions, offshore structure and other areas where gobies, small baitfish and other bottom-oriented forage are present. Its compact profile makes it especially useful in clear water and heavily pressured fisheries where a subtle presentation can generate bites.

The Lil' General can also be used on a drop-shot rig when fish are suspended slightly above bottom or when anglers want to keep the bait in a specific strike zone. The smaller profile works well when fish are feeding on compact forage or when fishing pressure calls for a downsized presentation.

In addition to bass, the Lil' General is a versatile option for walleye and panfish. Its small profile and scent-enhanced material make it useful when vertically jigging, fishing light jigheads or presenting finesse soft plastics to fish that aren't responding to larger baits.

Fisherman's Central carries the Berkley PowerBait MaxScent Lil' General in 2.75" with a wide assortment of natural, crawfish, goby, baitfish and high-contrast colors, allowing anglers to match local forage and fishing conditions.
