The Dirty Jigs Tackle Swim Jig is a premium bass swim jig designed for fishing grass, vegetation and shallow cover with a clean, natural swimming presentation. Built in the proven Coosa River swim jig style, it combines a streamlined head, full high-definition skirt, realistic 3D eyes and a sharp VMC hook to create a versatile moving bait for largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass.

Designed to move efficiently through grass and vegetation, the Dirty Jigs Swim Jig features a streamlined bullet-style head that helps the bait track through cover while maintaining a natural swimming presentation.

Fish it around grass lines, hydrilla, lily pads, reeds, laydowns, shallow flats and other bass-holding cover where a traditional moving bait may struggle to move cleanly through vegetation.

The full high-definition skirt creates additional movement and provides the profile of baitfish, bluegill and other common bass forage. Available color patterns allow anglers to match local forage or choose a higher-visibility presentation when fishing stained water and low-light conditions.

A sharp VMC bass hook provides the strength and hooking performance needed when fishing a swim jig around cover.

For a traditional swim jig presentation, pair the Dirty Jigs Swim Jig with a paddle tail swimbait trailer. The trailer adds swimming action behind the skirt and creates a larger baitfish profile for bass feeding on shad, minnows and other forage.

A craw or creature-style trailer can also be used when bass are feeding heavily on bluegill or crawfish, or when anglers want a bulkier profile and additional action.

Retrieve the Dirty Jigs Swim Jig steadily over and through vegetation, allowing the jig to move naturally through openings in the cover.

Around grass edges and shallow flats, experiment with retrieve speed until you determine how aggressively the fish want the bait. A slower retrieve can keep the jig in the strike zone longer, while a faster retrieve can trigger active bass chasing baitfish.

The Swim Jig can also be burned across shallow water and vegetation when bass are actively feeding and willing to chase a moving presentation.

Around lily pads and reeds, cast the jig past likely ambush points and swim it through openings and along edges where bass can attack the bait from cover.

When fishing laydowns and shallow wood, work the Swim Jig around the edges of cover and through open lanes to create a moving bait presentation that can imitate forage moving through the area.

The Dirty Jigs Swim Jig is especially effective during the pre-spawn, spawn and post-spawn periods, when bass frequently move into shallow water and relate to grass, vegetation and other shallow cover.

Choose natural shad and baitfish colors when bass are feeding on minnows or shad. Bluegill-style patterns provide an excellent option around shallow cover where bass are feeding on panfish, while darker and higher-contrast colors can provide additional visibility in stained water.

Pair the jig color with an appropriately colored soft plastic trailer to create a complete presentation.

The Dirty Jigs Tackle Swim Jig is an excellent choice for anglers who want a versatile moving bait that combines the profile of a jig with the swimming action and covering-water ability of a traditional moving lure.

Whether you're swimming a jig through hydrilla, burning it across a shallow grass flat, working lily pad edges or fishing around laydowns, the Dirty Jigs Tackle Swim Jig provides the streamlined design, high-definition skirt and VMC hook needed to confidently fish shallow bass cover.
