Rapala CrushCity Ned BLT

The Rapala CrushCity Ned BLT is a high-floating finesse soft plastic designed to deliver subtle action for bass when a smaller, natural presentation gets more bites. Developed as part of Rapala's CrushCity lineup with input from professional angler Jacob Wheeler, the Ned BLT combines a compact profile, tapered tail and buoyant TPE material for Ned rigging, drop shotting and other finesse presentations.

Built from high-floating TPE material, the Ned BLT is designed to rise and maintain an upright presentation when paired with a Ned jighead. This buoyancy keeps the bait visible and active while allowing anglers to fish it with very little rod movement.

A tapered tail creates subtle action even when the bait is barely moving. Rather than requiring aggressive hops or shakes, the Ned BLT can be dragged, dead-sticked or allowed to move naturally with current and water movement—an excellent approach when targeting pressured or less aggressive bass.

The compact profile makes the Ned BLT especially effective for smallmouth bass, but it is equally useful for largemouth and spotted bass whenever fish are keyed in on smaller forage or responding better to finesse presentations.

While designed as an outstanding Ned rig bait, the CrushCity Ned BLT isn't limited to a jighead. Rig it on a drop shot when targeting suspended bass, fishing deeper structure or presenting a small soft plastic above bottom cover.

For a traditional Ned presentation, pair the Ned BLT with an appropriately sized Ned jighead and fish it around rock, points, transitions, grass edges and other bass-holding structure. Drag it slowly along the bottom, make short hops or simply allow the buoyant bait and tapered tail to create subtle movement.

On a drop shot, its compact profile and naturally responsive tail provide an excellent finesse presentation for clear water, pressured fish and smallmouth bass.

Available in a range of forage-matching colors, the Rapala CrushCity Ned BLT gives anglers the ability to adjust their presentation to local bait, water clarity and fishing conditions.
