Berkley PowerBait Power Swimmer

The Berkley PowerBait Power Swimmer is a versatile soft plastic paddle tail swimbait designed to imitate the natural swimming action and profile of baitfish. Featuring reliable paddletail action and Berkley's proven PowerBait formula, the Power Swimmer can be rigged in numerous ways for targeting bass, walleye and other freshwater gamefish.

The Power Swimmer's paddle tail produces consistent swimming action during the retrieve, creating movement that helps the bait imitate minnows, shad and other forage fish.

Its realistic baitfish profile makes the Berkley Power Swimmer an excellent choice when predatory fish are actively feeding on smaller forage or when anglers need a versatile soft plastic that can be adapted to different depths and presentations.

For bass fishing, rig the Power Swimmer on a jighead or weighted swimbait hook and retrieve it around grass edges, docks, points, flats, laydowns and other areas where largemouth and smallmouth bass are feeding on baitfish.

Vary retrieve speed to match fish activity. A steady retrieve provides consistent paddletail action, while slower presentations can be used when fish are holding deeper or aren't aggressively chasing moving baits.

For smallmouth bass, fish the Power Swimmer around rocky points, gravel flats, grass edges and offshore structure. Natural baitfish patterns provide excellent options when smallmouth are feeding on minnows, shad, perch and other forage.

The Berkley Power Swimmer is also an excellent soft plastic swimbait for walleye. Rig it on an appropriately sized jighead and cast or vertically present it around points, breaks, weed edges, rock and other walleye-holding structure.

The paddle tail continues to provide swimming action as the bait moves through the water, making the Power Swimmer a versatile option for both casting and jigging presentations.

The Power Swimmer can also be rigged on a weighted swimbait hook when anglers want a streamlined presentation for fishing around grass and other cover.

For anglers fishing an A-rig or umbrella rig, smaller Power Swimmer sizes provide compact baitfish profiles that can be used to create a school-of-forage presentation.

Berkley also recommends the Power Swimmer for use with spinnerbaits, allowing the paddle tail to provide additional movement behind the lure.

The Power Swimmer can even be incorporated into Texas-rig and Carolina-rig presentations, giving anglers additional ways to fish the bait around cover and structure.

Berkley's proven PowerBait scent and flavor formula is incorporated into the bait to encourage fish to bite and hold onto the presentation longer, giving anglers additional time to detect bites and set the hook.

Fisherman's Central carries the Berkley PowerBait Power Swimmer in 2.8-inch, 3.3-inch, 3.8-inch and 4.3-inch sizes, allowing anglers to match the bait's profile to local forage and fishing conditions.

The 2.8-inch Power Swimmer provides a compact baitfish presentation that is excellent for finesse applications, smaller forage and situations where bass or walleye are feeding on small minnows.

The 3.3-inch Power Swimmer provides another compact and versatile profile for jigheads, A-rigs and other swimbait presentations.

The 3.8-inch Power Swimmer offers a medium-size baitfish profile that works well for a wide variety of bass and walleye fishing situations.

The larger 4.3-inch Power Swimmer provides a bigger forage profile when anglers want additional presence in the water or fish are feeding on larger baitfish.

Fisherman's Central carries the Power Swimmer in a broad assortment of colors including natural shad, bluegill and other forage-inspired patterns.

Natural colors such as Ayu, Bluegill Flash, Electric Shad, Rainbow Shad, Silver Shiner and Tennessee Shad provide excellent options when anglers want to imitate baitfish.

Green Pumpkin provides a versatile natural option around grass and mixed cover, while brighter and higher-contrast colors can provide additional visibility in stained water and low-light conditions.

Matching the Power Swimmer's size and color to local forage can help create a more natural presentation, while contrasting colors can be useful when anglers want the bait to stand out.
