The Berkley Choppo 3 Pack Kit gives anglers three proven Choppo 90 topwater prop baits in one convenient assortment. Designed for explosive surface strikes from largemouth bass, smallmouth bass and other aggressive gamefish, the Choppo combines an easy cast-and-retrieve presentation with a durable cupped propeller tail that creates attention-grabbing sound, spray and waking action across the surface.
Each lure in the Berkley Choppo 3 Pack is a Choppo 90 measuring approximately 3.5 inches long and weighing 1/2 ounce. The floating design keeps the lure on the surface, while its precision-balanced body allows it to begin working quickly and track straight at a variety of retrieve speeds.
The defining feature of the Berkley Choppo is its durable, cupped tail propeller. As the lure moves across the water, the rotating tail creates continuous surface disturbance with a combination of sound and spray designed to attract fish and trigger aggressive topwater strikes. The enhanced propeller surface area creates plenty of commotion while maintaining the simple retrieve that makes the Choppo easy for anglers of varying experience levels to fish.
Unlike topwater baits that require a specific walking or popping cadence, the Choppo can be fished with a straightforward cast-and-retrieve presentation. Cast beyond productive water, begin reeling and allow the propeller tail to create the lure's signature action. Retrieve speed can be adjusted depending on fish activity and fishing conditions.
The Choppo 90 is particularly well suited for fishing around shallow cover in calmer conditions. Work it along grass lines, over submerged vegetation, around docks and laydowns, across shallow flats or through open water where bass are feeding near the surface. Its compact 3.5-inch profile provides a versatile topwater presentation that can imitate a variety of surface forage.
Each Choppo is equipped with sharp Fusion19 hooks to help convert explosive surface strikes into solid hookups. The lure's durable propeller is designed to maintain its shape, while the balanced body keeps the bait tracking
