The Abu Garcia Beast Casting Reel is purpose-built for anglers who need maximum power without sacrificing comfort or casting precision. Designed around an X2-Cräftic™ aluminum frame and handle sideplate, the Beast delivers outstanding rigidity and durability while maintaining a compact, easy-to-palm profile for extended fishing sessions.
Equipped with 7 HPCR™ stainless steel bearings plus one roller bearing, the Beast provides exceptionally smooth retrieves under heavy loads. The Power Stack Carbon Matrix™ Drag System generates up to 25 pounds of drag on the Beast 200 and up to 30 pounds on select Beast 300 models, giving anglers the stopping power needed for large fish and heavy cover.
The Duragear® Gen II or Gen III brass gear system (model dependent) is engineered for long-lasting strength and consistent cranking power. The IVCB-6 centrifugal braking system on the Beast 200 and the Infini™ Brake System on the Beast 300 provide excellent casting control across a wide range of lure weights. A 95mm bowed aluminum handle with oversized knobs delivers increased leverage and comfort when retrieving large swimbaits or fighting trophy fish.
Available in 200 and 300 sizes, the Abu Garcia Beast Casting Reel is ideal for throwing large swimbaits, glide baits, A-rigs, oversized spinnerbaits, and other power-fishing presentations where strength, line capacity, and durability are essential.
