Eagle Claw Bottom Bouncer

The Eagle Claw Bottom Bouncer is a dependable trolling weight designed to keep crawler harnesses, spinner rigs, live bait and other fishing presentations close to the bottom where walleye and other gamefish feed. Featuring a heavy-duty L-shaped steel wire design and snap swivel, the Eagle Claw Bottom Bouncer provides anglers with an effective way to maintain bottom contact while trolling lakes and rivers.

Bottom bouncers are especially popular for walleye trolling because they allow anglers to present crawler harnesses and spinner rigs near bottom while maintaining control over depth and the position of the bait.

The L-shaped wire design allows the weighted portion of the rig to maintain contact with the bottom while positioning the fishing line and trailing presentation away from the weight. This makes bottom bouncers an excellent choice when trolling crawler harnesses, spinner rigs and other walleye presentations.

Pair the Eagle Claw Bottom Bouncer with a walleye crawler harness to present a nightcrawler behind a rotating spinner blade. The bottom bouncer helps maintain the rig near bottom while the harness trails behind it.

Bottom bouncers can also be paired with spinner rigs, live bait rigs and compatible trolling presentations when anglers need reliable depth control and bottom contact.

For walleye fishing, troll the Eagle Claw Bottom Bouncer across flats, breaks, points, transitions and other areas where fish are relating to the bottom. Adjust the amount of line and bottom-bouncer weight based on water depth, trolling speed, current and fishing conditions.

When fishing deeper water or stronger current, anglers can move to a heavier bottom bouncer to help maintain the desired presentation near bottom. In shallower water or lighter-current situations, a lighter weight may provide sufficient bottom contact while allowing a more
