The Humminbird Ethernet Cable allow the connection of two Ethernet capable units or devices to share information. Three or more devices may be connected with the use of a Humminbird 5 Port Ethernet.

Making an ethernet connection to any of the following devices requires the use of the Humminbird Ethernet Cable as well as the Humminbird Ethernet Adapter Cable, those units include:

- 999ci HD, 959ci HD DI, 959ci HD
- 899ci HD, 788ci HD DI, 788ci HD
- All Helix 9 Series
- All Helix 10 Series
- All Helix 12 Series
